"Yes, indeed, Stan! Certainly confusing. But, I've run companies for years now and I know how often good people have "filtered" some facts intuitively to support a certain point of view, and, as a sometimes quick-decision type of manager, I have to…"

Ken Girard left a comment on Alfa Romeo Owners Group
"The pre-war Alfa's are so expensive at this point no one ever sees the 'real-thing' even on display, let alone actually being driven. The Alfa Owners Club National convention was held in Chicago last year, easily within distance of several pre-war…"

Ken Girard left a comment on Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association Ltd. (VSCDA) Members Group

  • Hello Ken,
Sorry to hear you let the car go but if it does not fit, it does not fit. I have seen a 399 and a 300 in person (same tub) and they seem to be really roomy but tough for a short bastard like me to judge the height aspect. I believe the late Reynard F3 cars were good for the tall and wide and they share the tub with the FA car. I saw a really tall and wide guy at waterford running a 91H (so same tub as the 913) so you might look into that. Hope you're well.
