Anybody out there? anything new in Listerville?

I was watching a show the other day on the Carrera Panamericana and something flashed by the screen and I had to rewind a bit and watch it slowly.  I almost thought it was a Cobra and ignored it. Yep it was none other than our own Charles Breed in his Lucra 470 tearing it up. Unfortunately there were only one or two more brief shots of his car in the rest of the show because it was focused around a couple of old Mustangs and a Falcon. LC470 Lister 1st Place in NASA Super Unlimited Wheel-to-Wheel racing at Thunderhill

Congratulations to Charles Breed who placed 1st on Sunday and 2nd on Saturday in NASA Super Unlimited racing at Thunderhill. He should be given extra style points for leaving the truck and trailer at home and driving the LC470 to the track and back two hours each way.His previous finishes for this season have all been 3rd place or better, so he's got a very good shot at winning the battle for overall points in 2009.In addition to Pike's Peak Hill Climb and Carrera Panamerica, here's the…

Wilwood caliper upgrade with 16" Halibrand Kidney Bean wheels

I'm getting close to wrapping this project up so I thought I would post a couple of photos since things have been pretty quiet on this forum for a while. I tested it out the other day in the neighborhood and the caliper mounts that I concocted seem fine so far but I think I need a larger master cylinder since the pedal has too much travel and is a bit soft. I can still lock them up easily however so I may not be that far off. I will hopefully get a response back from Tilton tomorrow.
