Listers Take Scottsdale Pavillions By Storm

Steve, Scott, and myself at the Scottsdale Pavillions get together last weekend. Way too many folks asking if they were Cobras (blasphemy) but we were also very surprised at how many knew that they were Listers. Check out Steve's new wire wheels, very tasty...Click the photos for a larger view.

  • After you guys left the Chandler show the same afternoon...with our two ( Breckley and mine) Listers....an obnoxious Know-it-all guy walked up to my Beck and said...What was it before it was customized...?

Fortunately he left before I responded.
    • Wish that you "had" responded and I wish was there to hear it. ;-)

If you have any photos of the Chandler show you should post them up here. I should have brought my camera to both events that day but alas I must rely upon the kindness of strangers for photos of those events. The Pavillions were courtesy of Scott's wife.
    • Great pics--thanks for sharing. I've never seen three Lister replicas before--not even at Chuck's shop!--and it's cool. The wires make for a refreshing departure from the kidney beans.

People out here in South Texas must just be plain slow, because I've never even had mine mistaken for a Cobra. They just stare and stare and stare before the inevitable "What is that?" question emerges.
    • Just tell them its the new F250 Bob... ;-)
  • Good job, guys! Those tilt front ends show soooooo nicely.

As soon as we get some Hollywood producer to use one prominently in a movie, people will start asking if Cobras are Listers.;-)

...trouble is, producers have a bad habit of destroying them, too.:( Ed
  • Alan, thanks for the post, good to see a "collection" out & about, re the Cobra comments I get it at (almost) every show, & simply advise that the Lister design / execution pre-date's the AC Cobra by "many" years. Jack
