What automotive, motorsports or collector car activities would you like to do in the future?

TVR 2500M (one 1973 and one 1974 V8 project) TVR 280i (two '85 projects and one '86) Lancia Scorpion (two '76 projects and one '77) Marcos 3000GT (1969 wood chassis) Opel GT (1970) Triumph GT6 (1973 project) Jensen Healey (1975 project) Chevy Camaro RS Convertible (1967) Chevy Corvette T-Top Coupe (1969) Mercury Cougar XR-7 (1968) Buick Reatta (two 1990s - one driver, one project) Buick Riviera (1963 for sale) Austin Healey Sprite (1968) Fiat 2000 Spider (1982 project) Fiberfab Jamaican (kit project) Retired U-Haul Box truck (1989..well, not really a classic, but it has trailered several and has been modified to carry one inside.) Ford F250 Quad-Cab Diesel Pickup (2003). Hey, this is Texas and you just have to have a truck.

What Car Clubs, Racetracks or Motorsport Sanctioning Bodies, (e.g. F1, NASCAR, Indycar, IMSA, WRC) interest you?

Believe it or not, I like working. I finally found something I enjoy doing...and I get paid for it. "Work" now includes car shows, car clubs, fiddling with my own cars (when I can) and talking to car people.

John Salley replied to Bob Carroll's discussion Lancia Scorpions in Lancia Owners Club
"Bob-
I also happened to think; there is a place called Caribou in California was was having some Scorpion-specific stuff reproduced. They, and the Montehospital, are your best bet for the unique stuff.

Good luck-
John"

Bob Carroll replied to Bob Carroll's discussion Lancia Scorpions in Lancia Owners Club
"John,

My biggest concern at this point is going to be trim items. I've got one driver (a '77) , one '76 project car that is fairly complete and running, and one parts car with a 2-liter HPE engine. So, most of the mechanicals are covered, but it's…"

"Bob-

The brake and suspension parts are all basically X1/9 parts. The engine and transmission are slightly modified versions of the Lancia Beta parts.
A guy named Jason Greenwood has obtained molds from a guy named Rodger Grantham. Jason has a…"

"Hi John,

Thank you for the response. I've heard of International Autoparts, but the others will be added to my list. I'm aware of the Fiat heritage, but am wary of small differences. For example, I replaced some seized rear calipers with ones from…"

"Bob-

Anything in particular you are looking for? The mechanical stuff is pretty readily available from other Fiat parts distributors, such as Vick Autosports, International Autoparts, Bayless, etc.
The Scorpion specific body parts basically aren't…"

Is anyone aware of any good parts sources for Scorpions in the USA? All I've found (anywhere) thus far is The Monte Hospital in the UK. They're great people, but shipping is a killer.Thanks,-bobDSC01253.JPG
