    A Mk3 Spitfire has been my first car in 1971, and still I have it! In 1990 I started racing a 4(Mk1) in Historic Rallies and Hillclimbs, and still I do, even if a Lola sportscar is now trying to become my favourite. I doubt she'll ever succeed...

    My first car at age 17 was a GT6, what a blast, and a fast blast at that. one of the most enjoyable things was street racing with MG's. The only trouble i found with the GT6 was a weak trans, I eventually blew 2nd gear. Although I don"t own a Spitfire at the present time, I am always looking at them and will get one sooner or later.

I am the original owner of this spitfire.... 30 years this AUG. of loving this car..... Someone recently damaged the rear end ( the car so far had never even had a door dent ) so I figured as long as the body work was being done I might as well redo the entire car....
