  • Hey Movie Car Fans,

  • It found me, when I was about 3 or 4. Somebody gave it to me. It was done by Corgi Toys:

    Quote:
"Corgi Toys first appeared in July 1956 and were manufactured by Mettoy Playcraft Ltd in Fforest-fach, Swansea. The name 'Corgi' was chosen because of the location of the factory, the corgi being a Welsh breed of dog. Such was the popularity of Corgi Toys that they succeeded in challenging Meccano's domination of the market with its range of Dinky Toys. The comic superhero Batman was created by Bob Kane and first appeared in Detective Comics, published by DC Comics, in May 1939. Using the wealthy Bruce Wayne as a secret identity, Batman fought crime in Gotham City with his trusted sidekick, Robin. Batman became a cult television programme in the late 1960s with Adam West playing the leading role and Burt Ward as Robin. This version of the Corgi Batmobile is particularly rare as the colour of the wheels were later changed and were switched to whizzwheels in 1970.
