  • Sports Car Digest just posted coverage of the Vintage Festival complete with sixty pictures that capture the racing action.

    http://www.sportscardigest.com/2009-vintage-festival-at-lime-rock-r...

In addition, we'll have a separate story on the Sunday in the Park and a profile of the Mercedes-Benz W 154 that participated in the weekend.
  • Looking forward to the NARRC event!
  • THat did it, thanks Trevor! The whacky view was fun though.
  • Clark, if you're using IE8 then you should hit the "Compatibility View" button up top next to the Address Bar. If you're getting that to happen in any previous version of Internet Explorer I recommend simply using a different piece of software-Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, etc.
  • Is it just me or are most of the photos above WAY out of whack? Quite comical, here at least! Tall and skinny.
  • Hey guys!

This group is great. Everyone excited for the Vintage festival coming up!?

I thought you Lime Rock fans might be interested to learn that our film production produced a TV-series called GT-RACER, that featured Lime Rock in an episode in the first season. We captured some great footage of the famous Aston Martin DB4GT Works LightWeight!

GT-RACER is now out on DVD. You can see trailers on the director's page on the VRL here:

You can also order the DVDs here:

For VRL members we put in a great discount that you get by entering this discount code: "JGFILM"

Hopefully we get some feedback how you liked the films.
We have a group on the VRL to discuss them here:

  • The ALMS race this year was fantastic! I love Lime Rock, it was the first venue I went to in 1969 as a wide eyed 13 year old! The place just gets better and better.....save for one small criticism from a crazy photographer......The weeds along no name straight were terrible this year and took away a lot of good photo angles. Can't they be cut down for the big race weekends? Cheers and best wishes for continued success at Lime Rock, Rich.
  • Great video find, Trevor! Really, really, really, really great!
  • Along the lines of Alexander's comment, here's a website not to be missed by any sportscar fan, present or past...
I've spent a few hours looking through here thinking about the "Glory Days" of IMSA GTP racing I've begrudgingly had to endure listening about from Lime Rock campers, while growing up with the chop-top WSCs...

Camping at Lime Rock

I have been going to LimeRock for the past 10-12 years, been to all the big events. I have enjoyed the VIP motorcycle parking, trips with my wife, wife & daughter, alone, with friends. I am looking for some feedback and input on camping at the park.
