  • It should be noted that the 2 litre six in all Arnolt Bristols, in the Bristol 404, AC Bristols and some Acecas, as well as Veritas 2 litres, were all derviations of the Fritz Fiedler designed hemishperical combustion chamber 2 litre six that first came to prominence as the powerplant for the BMW 328. Fiedler's design has acheived a distinguished heritage as a competitive motor in these as well as several other chassis from 1936 right through until about 1960. Yes, it was tall, because of the hemi head, but what a wonderful motor.
