In a recent issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car magazine, they announced a contest in conjunction with Automodello model company to suggest the next auto they should build as a model kit. You will be interested that I entered that contest by suggesting that your Avai-BMW would be the best choice as their next model kit car. Hope we both win!!

I was flagging at turn 12 at Infineon the day you unloaded your Avia-BMW 750 in the pit lane & took it out on the track for the 1st time. I thought it was an extremely beautiful car then, and still do everytime I see it. Enjoyed watching you & your car at the Sonoma Historics this past June. Hope to see you at the CSRG meet in Oct.

Thanks, Mark, that was a really nice thing to say! I can't imagine life that doesn't include sitting in a lawnchair INSIDE your garage on a rainy day, pondering the good fortune of owning a great car, and thinking about what changes you will make to it next or what work needs to be done to keep it running the way you like!
