  • Great to meet you in Monterey as well! Me and my Typhoon will keep racing--as long as the oil says in the car ;)
  • Dear Daniel
Since you've "gone long" in exhaust pipe photos, I thought that you would enjoy these :-))

  • Daniel,
Thanks for the invite. I have another Capri (8 total!) with West coast History- I was built in 1975. Don't have any Capri pictures do ya?

I would be interested to know if you have any Rodriguez photos from the end of the 50s into the 60s at Riverside and Laguna Seca? You may not go that far back! Best wishes

  • Daniel,
Your photos bring back alot of memories...I worked for Andretti, and Lyn StJames (probably had one of the most famous incidents at Riverside) as well as Dick Simon...oh so many others! Socialized with Linda, go karted with Paul Newman, on and on, those were some fun times...Thanks again for reviving the memories!
I too went to Monterey and Sonoma this year, what a hoot!
Planning on going next year, well to many events next year
    (as a participant).
As you know, after a 30 year career in professional motorsports,
I am directing my experience toward the restorationand preparation
of vintage racecars for those who race them!
It is my intention to have one of my "hallmark" restoration projects
compete at Monterey and Sonoma. As well as events in the HSR
and Bobby Rahal's new HMP series!
I will keep you posted...referrals are always welcome!
    Thanks again!
  • Riverside was an amazing place. I crewed for a friend driving a Brabham BT21. We almost always sat above the essess just before T6 to watch the races. Ate lots of dust from the offs!
