In non-pandemic times, the major California car events aren't just what's on the official schedule. With travelers coming in from all over the country, garages and shops and collectors of all sorts throw open their doors to friends old and new--and sometimes paying customers--for a glimpse of how they do it on the left coast. The Petersen Automotive Museum seems to get that these tours, whether organized or unorganized, are all part of the Monterey Car Week experience, so as part of Petersen's multi-week Car Week, the museum started offering video tours of various shops for those of us as home.
